(8-Day Remote Village Life Experience – Nogar Village, Gena Tribe)
Day 1: Port Moresby – Goroka
Arrive at Jacksons International Airport, Port Moresby. Meet your local guide and check in for your domestic flight to Goroka in the Eastern Highlands. Upon arrival, transfer to your lodge for check-in and relaxation. Overnight in Goroka.
Day 2: Goroka – Kerowagi District (Nogar Village, Gena Tribe)
After breakfast, depart Goroka by private vehicle and begin your scenic drive to Chimbu Province, Kerowagi District, home of the Gena Tribe. Arrive at Nogar Village – a culturally rich community known for its fascinating cave dwellers and traditional lifestyles. Meet the host families and settle into your local accommodation or tent. Begin your immersive remote village experience. Overnight at Nogar Village.
Day 3–5: Immersive Cave & Village Life Experience
Spend three full days living among the local community, experiencing authentic highlands village life. Activities may include:

- Visit and interact with families still living inside the natural limestone cave

- Participate in traditional gardening (sweet potatoes, taro, and local greens)

- Assist in preparing and cooking local meals, including traditional earth oven “mumu”

- Learn the art of building traditional bush-material houses

- Join local men on hunting walks and gathering trips

- Cultural storytelling, tribal history, and evening fireside sharing

- Optional nature walks and photography in surrounding forest and limestone landscapes

- Experience life far from modernity, with opportunities to observe traditional living, customs, and survival skills. Overnight with local host families or in your own tent.
Day 6: Nogar Village – Goroka
Farewell to your host community. Depart Nogar Village by private 4×4 vehicle and return to Goroka. Check-in at Phoenix Hotel for a comfortable rest and refresh. Overnight in Goroka.
Day 7: Goroka – Port Moresby
After breakfast, transfer to Goroka Airport for your domestic flight back to Port Moresby. On arrival, transfer to Wellness Lodge. Free afternoon for relaxation or optional city tour. Overnight in Port Moresby.
Day 8: Departure
Breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to Jacksons International Airport for your onward international flight to your next destination.
