Please see below the itinerary and cost for birding and Mt.Wilhelm Trek. It is a private 7 days program based on a single traveling person.

Itinerary:
Day 1 – Arrive in Mt.Hagen. Meet and transfer to Kumul Birding Lodge.
Overnight: Kumul Lodge (LD).
Day 2 – Full-day Birding
Day 3 – Full-day Birding
Overnight: Kumul Lodge (BLD).
Day 4 – Transfer by 4WD from Mt.Hagen to Kegesugle village (4-5 hours drive). Settle into Kegesugle Guest House, have lunch. After lunch, walk around the vicinity of Kegesugle village, visiting local homesteads, gardens, and market. Return to guest house.
Overnight: Kegesugle Guest House (BLD).
Day 5 – Today. First day Trek from Kegesugle to Lake Piunde Basecamp (4-5 hours hike). The Trek goes through alpine rainforest for the first couple of hours and then into the open Savanah grassland up to the Basecamp.
Overnight: Lake Piunde Hut (BLD).
Day 6 – Today. Second day Trek from Lake Piunde up to summit. You will have light breakfast at 13:00 and by 13: 30 you start your trek to the Summit (8-10 hour’s hike return). After viewing and taking photos, Trek back to Basecamp. Rest, have some lunch. Breakup camp and continue Trek back to Kegesugle.
Overnight: Kegesugle Guest House (BLD).
Day 7 – Today. After early breakfast. Transfer back to Mt.Hagen.
End of services.
